Essay Title
The title of the essay for 2004 (in both the Pre-University
and University categories) is "Is Our Education System
Able to Meet the Challenges of Globalisation?" Essays
should provide an in-depth assessment of Singapore's education
system against a backdrop of rapid globalisation. In particular,
essays should examine the recent changes in our education
system and discuss whether these changes would enable us to
meet the challenges and opportunities posed by an increasingly
integrated and competitive world. Essays should also provide
proposals, where applicable, as to how we should further refine
our education system going forward.
