January 2008 Issue 1 UPCOMING EVENTS Regional Economic Outlook (REO) Forum 2008 Asia has experienced strong growth in recent years, but the recent turbulence in the financial system and the anticipated slowdown in global growth are set to pose some challenges to Asia. The REO Forum 2008 will examine recent economic
and financial developments and trends in the Asia region. The
near-term outlook, key risks and their related policy challenges
will be analyzed in this special forum. Speakers will include
