“The Political and Economic Prospects for Asian Region 2011”
To kick off 2011, The Economic Society of Singapore (ESS) organized a corporate breakfast forum on the “The Political and Economic Prospects for Asian Region 2011” which was held on 7 th January at Grand Hyatt Singapore.
This program was extended only to the corporate leaders of ESS community and its objective is to facilitate interactive and free flowing discussion to provide them with a better understanding of challenges in the external environment.

The speakers of this forum are, Mr. Manu Bhaskaran, CEO of Centennial Asia Advisors who spoke on the political aspect and Dr. Chua Hak Bin, Economist, Bank of America Merrill Lynch who spoke on the “Emerging Asia –Year of the Rabbit: Fast Growth, Rising Inflation. This forum was chaired and moderated by Mr. Yeoh Lam Keong, ESS, Vice President.
