LEADERSHIP STUDY TRIP TO HONGKONG 2009

The Economic Society of Singapore (ESS) supported the Nanyang Technological University Economic Society to their inaugural Leadership Study Trip to Hong Kong 2009, from 14th December to 18th December 2009. This trip was aimed at enhancing their members' experience and to expose the student leaders in the international arena. Through this visit, both official and side-visits took place, which included networking sessions with corporate, institutions, universities and also visits to some of the tourists' attraction. All in all, this trip provided the delegates vast opportunities to meet and interact with their fellow Hong Kong counterparts, and most importantly, achieving the 3 main objectives set forth for the trip:

• To appreciate and understand the economic and financial development of Hong Kong
• To establish networks with strategic overseas institutions and partners
• For Experience, Exposure and Excitement
